The “Academic Debate for Student Leaders,” or DALE for its acronym in Spanish, is an annual event that is important to the youth of Latin America, especially that of Nicaragua. This is a two day event in which students can take on roles regarding past, current, or potential future events that are relevant to Latin American society.
The Eagle Eye is the official NCAI school newspaper. Boasting a new website, there seem to be promising things on the horizon for the young publication; with a sleek, modern presentation, and a variety of relevant and informative pieces, the novel online publication is worth checking out.
Last year, part of our leadership came together to develop what has become known as the ANCA Standards of Teacher Excellence. This year we had the opportunity to fully launch those standards across our three campuses during our annual ANCA staff conference.
On March 17, SERVE hosted 31 orphan and barrio children and their chaperones at the NCAI campus for a time of games, activities, and a movie.
