Nicaragua Christian Academy Academic excellence with a Christian foundation

NCA International

Dual U.S. Accreditation

NCA International has dual accreditation in the United States and complies with rigorous standards and external quality assurance reviews to ensure excellence in all areas.

NCA International has full regional U.S. accreditation through Cognia (formerly AdvancED). Students graduating from NCA International will receive a U.S. high school diploma recognized at all public and private colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, and many other countries worldwide.

AdvancED was created through a 2006 merger of the PreK-12 divisions of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI)—and expanded through the addition of the Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC) in 2011.

NCA International was the first school in Central America to be accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). ACSI is a premier provider of professional services and resources for Christian educators worldwide, and is widely recognized among both public and private colleges and universities in the United States, Canada, and other countries worldwide.

Nicaraguan Ministry of Education

NCA International is fully authorized by the Nicaraguan Ministry of Education (MINED) to issue the "Bachillerato" degree to graduates who meet the criteria for the Nicaraguan high school diploma. Our program of study is designed to meet all national, as well as international, requirements. The majority of our students receive both their Nicaraguan and U.S. diplomas upon high school graduation.
