NCAI First Grade Teacher
Start Date: July 27, 2026
This is a self-contained classroom with an anticipated class size of about 20 students. The 1st grade teacher has a full-time educational assistant that works with them to teach and manage the students. The students go to other classes for their specials (Spanish, PE, art, music, computers, library and health), which means the 1st grade teacher has 2 hours of daily planning time during the school day. NCAI Second Grade Teacher
Start Date: July 27, 2026
This is a self-contained classroom with an anticipated class size of about 20 students. The 2nd grade teacher has a full-time educational assistant that works with them to teach and manage the students. The students go to other classes for their specials (Spanish, PE, art, music, computers, library and health), which means the 2nd grade teacher has 2 hours of daily planning time during the school day. NCAI English ESL/ELD Teacher
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Pull-out ESL/ELD (English as a Second Language / English Language Development) program to provide additional English language development support to small groups of elementary and secondary students. We have one full-time ELD teacher and plan to add a second full-time ELD teacher to split the load and expand services into middle school and high school. Only considering candidates with TESOL certification and at least two years of formal teaching experience in a similar school setting.
NCAI PK/Elementary PE Teacher
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Our preschool and elementary physical education program includes biweekly P.E. classes for all of our preschool and elementary students (PK1-6th grade). In addition, the PK/Elementary PE teacher is responsible to coordinate the elementary Eagles in Training program (short 6-day after-school sports camps for elementary students in a variety of areas like soccer, gymnastics, etc.), coach one or two athletic teams each school year, teach two middle school or high school elective classes each year, and provide additional support to the Athletic Director when possible.

An instructional coach is an experienced educator who provides personalized support to teachers through collaboration, modeling, and feedback to enhance instructional practices and improve student learning. They facilitate professional development, analyze data, and implement research-based strategies to foster continuous teacher growth.
